  1. I've read the last ten or so being a recent follower of your blog. Really nicely done. I've learned more about some of my friends than I did while we were together....

  5. I've enjoyed every one of the cruising interviews and follow a number of them on their websites or blogs. It's the only reason I look forward to Monday. Yep, I'm still a landlubbing, working stiff. Not for long....

  8. I have - This blog performs exactly to the sort of "mission statement" you kicked things off with. As someone that hopes to cruise some day, it's fantastic to get all of this short form input from so many different viewpoints. As opposed to the standard "cruiser's bible"s out there. Thanks for doing this!

  9. This is a great and inspiring resource for wannabe cruisers as well as current cruisers! So far, I have read the interviews with cruisers I have met along the way and a few others. Well done, Livia!

  13. Interestingly enough I read the 78th interview (the oldest one) on the same day you posted this. Then went to Newly Salted and read those, finishing up today.

I read the Slapdash and Bumfuzzle posts as I read their sites, but what finally got me to bookmark with the determination to come back and read it all was Nine of Cups.

Thanks for the monumental amount of time and effort you clearly have put into this site.

  20. I've read every post a least once. I've probably read half of them at least twice. I've read some of them multiple times.

It's been great fun, thank you so much.
I leave Port Townsend in one and a half years. First to Haida Gwaii, then Glacier Bay. After that?

It's been a blast reading these as I've prepared. Again, a heartfelt thank you.

  21. I've read them all.

These well-edited interviews / first-person accounts of cruising are so engaging. It's interesting to compare different sailors' experience. I very much appreciate the time and attention it took to produce you blog. Fantastic idea and great execution.
